About Cross College of Nursing
Cross College of Nursing is Affiliated to Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Recognized by Govt. of Tamilnadu (GO(MS)No.24) and approved by Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council. Cross College of Nursing believe in providing nursing education that is built on scientific principles, sound educational theory and practice. Our graduates with experience can rapidly move into leadership positions in nursing education, nursing services and administration. We believe in promoting all round development of the students with special emphasis on humility, morality, intelligence and spirituality which are expected of a professional nurse who will also be a valuable citizen and an effective "agent for change" in an ever changing society.

Our Aim
The aim of this nursing college is to prepare qualified nurses to enhance health care system in the community to meet all challenges in health care.
- Assume responsibilities as professional competent nurses in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.
- To make independent decisions in nursing situations, to protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, to function in hospital, community nursing services and to conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor and manager in clinical / public health settings.
